　長府製作所は、社名は、本社が山口県下関市長府にあることに由来しています。創業は1954年と歴史ある会社で、農機具メーカーとしてスタートしてから、石油給湯器を主体とする住宅設備機器分野に発展し、今では石油、ガス、電気、太陽熱、燃料電池などあらゆるエネルギーに対応した住宅設備機器メーカーになりました。とくに住まいに必ず必要な給湯器の分野では、石油、ガス、電気、太陽熱のすべてのエネルギーの機器をカバーしているのは、他社にはありません。

　現在のセンター北に横浜営業所が開業したのは、約10年前です。駅から5分ととても便利な場所にあり、ショールームとして、とても明るく広い空間に、石油給湯器、システムバス、システムキッチンなどの各種製品を展示しています。

　ここは、住宅メーカーや住宅設備機器取扱店から紹介されたお客様が、キッチン、バス、空調、暖房機器などの設備をここで確かめ、相談して決めるために訪れる専用のショールームです。お客様は都筑区内に限らず、県内さまざまなところからいらっしゃいます。
また通りがかりにふらっとお寄りいただくのも大歓迎だそうです。

　ショールームでは、スペシャリストが、住まいのエネルギーを効率よく、心地よくするために、お客様のニーズにあった提案をしています。

　所長さんの澤井さんは、この横浜営業所に初期から勤務していて、港北ニュータウンの発展を見てきました。「人々が若くて元気なまち都筑、がこのまちのいいところですね。」と話してくれました。長府製作所は、センター北商業振興会の一員として、このまちを応援しています。
